My name is Charlie, and I am an undergraduate researcher at Rombolabs. I am looking for participants (18-35 years old) for my experiment on visual and taste perceptions. In this study, we aim to investigate the effect of vision on taste perception.
You will receive a $10 Amazon gift card for your participation in this experiment.
In this study, you will drink a variety of drinks that may contain food coloring, water, and sugar. Then, you will answer questions on your taste perception. The total length of this experiment runs from 3-4 hours, not exceeding 5 hours. We will conduct this experiment remotely, and we will provide you with all the necessary supplies. However, supplies will need to be picked up/dropped off around the UW area (either by you or the research assistant). Therefore, to participate, you must be present in Seattle.
Note: all materials will be sanitized per the HSD safety protocols. Workspace and study materials will be disinfected with EPA-approved disinfectant before and after each study.
You ARE eligible for this experiment if the following statements apply to you:
1. You do NOT have any insulin resistance diseases, such as diabetes.
2. You do NOT have any known color vision deficiencies, otherwise known as “color blindness.”
3. You do NOT use tobacco products or smoke (includes vaping, cigarettes, and marijuana).
