Dear ECE Students,
This is an overview of the upcoming Winter 2021 course – EE 501: Academic Writing.
This course is intended for graduate students in the engineering and hard sciences, as well as for advanced undergraduates who want to learn to write award-winning scientific manuscripts. The course covers conference papers, journal papers, dissertations, thesis proposals, grant proposals, complex reports, and books. Additional topics related to technical communications, like writing presentation slides and biographical sketches, will also be explored. Students will be given the opportunity to improve their skills to become better technical communicators.
