Recruiting now! This program places new-grad technologists to serve as tech policy advisors to top Members of Congress (offices like Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Speaker Nancy Pelosi.)
The program pays a $60,000-annual equivalent stipend, and fellows have done impactful work like:
- Working on the House Judiciary Committee’s Antitrust Subcommittee report on Big Tech
- Passing the OPEN Government Data Act into law
- Writing oversight letters about encryption and facial recognition technology.
They’re recruiting through 2/5/21, and here are the details about the program. There’s also an upcoming informational call about the program on Jan 27. They advertise for MS/Ph.D. students, but they will consider recent undergrads with a couple of years’ experience.
