Many of us are struggling with the trauma, anger, and exhaustion we feel as acts of violence and racism continue to occur locally and across the country. Our Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander community members have witnessed an undeniable rise in acts of racism and violence throughout the pandemic and the devastating increase in the last month. Many of us and especially our Black community members are yet again reliving grief and trauma from instances of fatal police violence in Minnesota. It is all of our responsibility to be proactive in identifying and interrupting all acts of hate and discrimination and to serve as allies.
