2021-22 Research Assistant (RA) Position with Office of EJGP
The Office of Equity & Justice in Graduate Programs EGJP is seeking a Research Assistant to be a member of a highly collaborative team working toward programmatic structural change. The RA’s primary role is to support ongoing programs and resource development, including the Equity Audit Tool, Equity Focus Office Hours, Holistic Support for the Grad Student Experience Series, and the annual Equity Summit. The RA will engage in a variety of activities from editing zoom videos, to creating and analyzing surveys to conducting and analyzing interviews, to providing literature reviewing. The RA will also provide communication and event support. These efforts will involve collaborating with a variety of units within the Graduate School, most centrally, GO-MAP and Core Programs, as well as units outside of the Graduate School. All of the work of the RA will be in service of creating more equitable and just graduate programs at the University of Washington. Emphasis will be placed on applicants with established research, work experience, and demonstrable commitment to race, equity, and inclusion efforts.
