Update 9/3/2021

Dear ECE students

Thank you to everyone who applied for a TA position for Autumn 2021.
At this time, we have completed all our TA offers in ECE for Autumn 2021.
If you did not receive an offer, I encourage you to continue to look at other departments whom you feel you have the background to TA.
Mack has highlighted a few departments that are looking for TA’s in his weekly email.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope everyone has a great long weekend!
Stephanie Swanson (she/her)
Director of Academic Services

The Autumn 2021 TA application for Electrical and Computer Engineering courses is now open and can be found at https://forms.gle/mxpD5ZxVaTVRwC2v7

A few reminders:

  • PMP classes can be challenging to match as they need specific skill sets. If you have the following skill sets I encourage you to apply. The syllabus for these PMP classes are also attached.

  1. EE 538 –  Experience with transistor-level analog design in CMOS technologies, including single-stage amplifier design (common-source, common-gate, source follower), current mirrors and biasing circuits, and fully differential opamp/OTA design with common-mode feedback; Verification experience in Cadence ADE/ADE-XL
  2. EE P 502 –  It would be really great if a TA had pretty good math skills, so that they can follow along some of the proofs that students may be asked to submit. More important, however, would be for them to have good working knowledge of programming with Python.
  3. EE P 596A:  Python, PyTorch, machine learning, signal processing, image processing, computer vision, git

The deadline to apply is Monday, August 2, 2021 at 5:00pm.
