THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING AT VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY is seeking candidates for a T/TK faculty position. Successful candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels and develop vigorous programs of externally funded research. Areas of focus are: (1) High-performance electronic devices and circuits, (2) Photonic devices and circuits, and (3) Devices and circuits related to quantum information processing. The successful candidate will build a research program that emphasizes the use of these technologies in harsh environments and builds on departmental strengths associated with the Institute for Space and Defense Electronics (ISDE), the Vanderbilt Radiation Effects and Reliability (RER) Group, and the Vanderbilt Institute for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE). These programs have research expenditures totaling over $5-6 M/year focused on effects in harsh environments.
