This year’s theme is “Powering Space” with a special focus on propulsion and sustainable built environments. We will also be discussing design for social good in the space sector and workforce development, particularly in the Seattle region.
In addition to our outside speakers, we are highlighting great research and leadership happening here at the UW and in the College of Engineering. Kristi Morgansen and Saadia Pekkanen (Jackson School) are hosting the event as the co-Directors of the Space Policy and Research Center. Dean Nancy Allbritton, Uri Shumlak (A&A) and Daniel Kirschen (ECE) will be moderating panels, with David Hendry (iSchool), David Shean (CEE), and Josh Smith (CSE) participating as panelists.
