We’re looking for individuals (at all ranks) with expertise and experience in engineering (all disciplines) and/or adjacent fields (e.g., applied mathematics, computer science, applied physics). Of the two openings, one is reserved for a faculty member in Electrical Engineering (all subfields). Olin is committed to becoming an increasingly inclusive and diverse learning community that supports equitable learning opportunities for everyone, and we strongly encourage women and individuals from historically underrepresented communities to apply.

At Olin, Engineering is for Everyone. We are at a moment of opportunity to reimagine and reshape the world we live in and to chart the path for sustaining its future. Engineering and Olin can play a role in this effort. At Olin, we believe that engineering education must be accessible and welcoming for people from all backgrounds and that engineering should serve not only individuals but also society and the planet. Please share our ads with people you know who are passionate about equity and access; who want to join us in reframing who can be engineers and what counts as engineering; and who want to mentor students to better integrate engineering and other fields as they study and tackle complex technical systems and societal challenges.

Details are at https://www.olin.edu/join-community/faculty/. We are holding several virtual events at which potential applicants will have the opportunity to connect with Olin faculty and get to know more about our community (the next one is Friday, November 5, 3-4 PM ET). Info on how to sign up for those sessions is in the job postings.
