2022-2023 Teaching Assistant (TA) positions in Asian Languages & Literature

- Employment for UW graduate students who will be enrolled full time during the assignment quarter (10+ credit hours in autumn, winter, and spring quarters; 2+ credit hours in summer quarter)
- Requires proficiency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese
- Compensation includes salary, tuition waiver, and health insurance eligibility
- For summer 2022, autumn 2022, winter 2023, and spring 2023 quarters
The Department of Asian Languages & Literature hires teaching assistants each academic year and summer to assist in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese language classes (among others). Applications for South Asian language/literature TAs (Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, etc.) are welcome even though there is not presently a foreseen need in 2022-2023. All appointments are subject to availability of funding. Department hiring will be carried out in conformity with the UW/UAW contract for Academic Student Employees
