I would greatly appreciate your assistance in identifying interested candidate(s) seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of design, fabrication, and testing of microelectronic and nanoelectronic devices and circuits. I am writing directly to you because your institution and associate research groups have expertise in the field of integrated circuits, MEMs, nanoelectronics, RF engineering devices and circuits, and are very active in preparing people in the targeted area.
This position is at the University of Maine, the State of Maine’s Land, Sea and Space Grant institution, and the State’s primary research institution with a Carnegie R1 classification. This faculty member will have the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as their academic home, and have a joint appointment with the prestigious multidisciplinary Frontier Institute for Research in Sensor Technologies (FIRST). FIRST encompasses faculty, researchers, and projects from multiple departments, including Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Biological Engineering, and Computer Science, among others.
