ECE is now accepting applications for Department partial support for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) WE22 Conference on October 20-22, 2022 in Housten, TX: https://we22.swe.org/. WE22 is is the world’s largest conference for Women Engineers and we want you to be involved!
The ECE Department will support up to 12 students interested in attending [paying for conference registration (approx. $125) and airfare (max $450)]. Keep in mind you would need to find additional funding or self-pay for hotel, some meals, and ground transportation.APPLY HERE: If you are interested in applying for partial ECE sponsorship to attend the WE22 please apply via this Catalyst link: Society of Women Engineers (SWE) 2022 Conference – Student Application for Partial ECE Dept. Funding. You will need to use your UW Net ID to log in.
Undergrad and graduate students are welcome to apply by Friday, May 20th. Students will be notified of ECE Support by Wednesday, May 25th. Please do not register for WE22 on your own if awarded, we will send a departmental registration voucher to use from ECE. If you have applied for 2022 registration/travel funding from SWE or have submitted a proposal for the conference, please make sure to include this in your application.
