Salmon migrate up the fish ladder at the Chittenden Locks in Ballard mid-June through October. Due to COVID-19 and maintenance, the fish viewing areas at the Chittenden Locks are currently closed. Check out this video to learn more about how salmon have historically and currently migrate through the Locks and continue upstream to spawn.
