Unsure whether to pursue an academic or non-academic career? This symposium will provide you with insights, tools, and informational resources to support your career exploration.

Each symposium day will include:

  • Understand how to use a career self-assessment tool to identify your interests, skills, and values
  • Learn insights from guest speakers and panels about careers in and beyond academia
  • Gain strategies to assess a possible employer’s commitment Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices
  • Develop networking skills to build your professional connections
