The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Washington is seeking a full-time Lecturer (12 month appointment) with an anticipated start date between June and August 2023. For more information, see our job ad, and contact Wendy Thomas at wendyt@uw.edu with any questions.
The new lecturer will teach bio-design courses in which the students solve problems in collaboration with clinical or industry partners, and will collaborate with our Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) committee to integrate JEDI into the design process.
The priority consideration deadline is January 31, 2023, so I hope you can forward this quickly to TAs or other graduate students or postdocs who are on the job market for next year, and especially to any who have taught design, are active in JEDI activities, and/or whose research is focused on clinical and/or industry collaborative design.
