Get ready for your graduate school experience with the UW Graduate School Preparation Program!

The 2023 Graduate School Preparation Program is a four-week in-person academic preparation program at the University of Washington. Students will learn crucial research, presentation, and group work skills while developing advanced academic English language skills and preparing for graduate-level study in the U.S.

Build a solid foundation in:

* Presentation skills
* Research methods
* U.S. professor expectations
* Leading and participating in group discussions
* Communicating effectively with professors and colleagues
* U.S. academic writing standards
* Reading time management
* American academic culture

Graduate School Preparation Program dates are August 7 – August 31, 2023. The priority application deadline is May 15, and the final deadline is July 7.
