Hope you are having a great Spring Quarter!
My name is Nayha, and I am the founder and Chair of Ability, a CSE/ECE RSO focused on the disability community and accessibility awareness. Our mission is to 1) Provide a strong community for students with disabilities to get support from one another and allies and 2) Educate our community about disability and the importance of accessibility in our world.
We do this by hosting:
- Social events (e.g. Bags & Boba, Cooking Decorating, Talent Show)
- Research events (e.g. Accessibility Research Night, Navigating Grad School panel)
- Educational events (e.g. Allyship, Imposter Syndrome, and Disability Resource Info Sessions)
- Career events (e.g. collaboration with companies such as Oracle during recruiting season).
We are looking for club officers for the 2023-24 school year and released our officer applications. Here is the application info:

Leadership positions are a relatively low time commitment (~3-4 hours per week). All majors are welcome.
We are wondering — would you be willing to advertise our officer applications with ECE students? Please let me know!
Applications are extended to Friday, 5/26 at 11:59pm, but if students need more time, we are happy to accommodate!
I have also attached a poster with the above information! If students have any questions, they can email me at nayhaa@cs.washington.edu
Best,
