The College of Engineering – Dean’s Office is hosting EPIC training Autumn 2023 quarter for our ASEs and Postdocs!

November 3, 2023 @ 3-4:30pm | November 8, 2023 @ 9-10:30am
The EPIC 1.0 training is jointly administered by the university and the ASE and Postdoc Union, UAW4121. In this 90-minute training over Zoom, you’ll learn some key skills:
- How to identify inequity and harassment
- How to intervene in uncomfortable situations
- How to discern which resources might support you should you experience or witness harassment

The EPIC curriculum extends into a 2.0 training. In Part 2, you’ll build on what was covered in Part 1 by:
- Discussing the importance of collective power
- Identifying different approaches to collective organizing and enacting change
- Assessing situations for opportunities for solidarity and broader structural change
