The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ENGINE) capstone program will kick off this academic year with a Pitch Event on November 16!
Date: Thursday, November 16, 2023
Time: Sponsors can arrive as early as 3:30 p.m. and must be at their tables, fully set up, by 4:45 p.m. Doors open to the public at 4:30 p.m. and the event ends at 7:00 p.m. (PST)
Location: Husky Union Building, North and South Ballrooms
Event information:
The event will include a presentation overview of the 2023/24 capstone projects via quad charts (more information below), followed by a tabling session. During the tabling session, sponsors are set up at an 8’ rectangular table. Students will visit each table and sponsors will share the problem and objective of their project. Students can ask specific questions about the project and the qualifications the sponsors seek.
This event is not intended for student self-promotion (e.g., students should not give sponsors resumes) nor is it an opportunity for sponsors to evaluate students or provide input to faculty about specific students for team selection. Student teams are determined by faculty after the event; this information is shared with sponsors in December.
