You’ve already taken the smart step of pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering, and now it’s time to take it to the next level with our Ph.D. program. The Computational Modeling in Medical Instrumentation and Imaging Group (COMMIT) at Northwestern University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering is looking for enthusiastic individuals with bachelor’s or master’s degrees in electrical engineering to join our dynamic team of engineers and physicians in addressing critical healthcare challenges. 

 As part of our program, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects funded by federal agencies, in close collaboration with the US Food and Drug Administration and leading medical device manufacturers. You’ll be at the forefront of developing, testing, and deploying the next generation of medical imaging and therapeutic devices.
