Computer networks are the backbone of the internet, enabling us to communicate across the globe. Take this course to learn how YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, and many other big companies provide amazing online services.

This project-driven course will take you on a journey through important technologies in wired networks:

  • Physical wires and wireless signals
  • Medium Access Control (MAC Layer)
  • Internet Routing (Network Layer)
  • TCP/IP (Transport Layer)
  • Building an actual web application from scratch.

Credits: 4 cr            Pre-reqs: None!
