Happy Winter Quarter 2024 to our College of Engineering & Allen School students!
Do you know what you want your life to look like after you graduate from UW? Whether you have questions about how to choose a major, or you want to learn more about an industry/company, or you want to evaluate a job offer, let our CC@E staff members help.
Attached is our Winter Quarter newsletter, and below are some of our offerings:
- WEDNESDAY DROP-INS (1-3pm): Our staff is available for quick questions in Loew 301; no appointment necessary for this first-come-first-served service.
- DAYTIME APPOINTMENTS: Gail, Michael, and Curtis are available Mon-Fri from 8a-4p; 15- and 30-minute sessions are available via Zoom or in-person. Appointments can be scheduled via Handshake.
- 15-MINUTE EVENING APPOINTMENTS: Our staff is available for 15-minute virtual appointments every Wednesday from 5-7pm, scheduled via Handshake.
- BASIC RESUME/COVER LETTER REVIEW: Email your materials in .pdf form to “engrhire@uw.edu” (expected turnaround is three business days).
- “ENGINEERING CAREER ESSENTIALS” WORKSHOPS: Attend one (or all!) of our workshops on our most popular topics; RSVP to the individual events in Handshake.
NOTE: More information about February’s “Etiquette Dinner” and “Mentor Night” will follow under separate cover in the next couple weeks.
