Are you an undergraduate interested in exploring computing research?

The Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program is the perfect opportunity to gain research experience early in your academic career, which can help you decide if you want to pursue a graduate degree and make you an attractive applicant.

A highly-regarded program with a rich 30-year history, DREU is an NSF-backed intensive 10-week summer research experience for undergraduates intended to increase the number of computing researchers from groups minoritized in tech. Students are matched with a faculty mentor and are directly involved in a research project with daily interaction with graduate students and professors.

Participants receive $7,000 of NSF funding for 10 weeks of full-time work, as well as relocation and additional funds to travel to a conference.

The deadline to apply is February 15, 2024.
