The Equity in Graduate Education Summit formally introduces the Graduate Equity Progress (EP) Tool, designed to assist units/departments in pinpointing strengths as well as areas for growth in efforts to create a just, diverse, and inclusive environment for students at every stage of their graduate career, from pre-recruitment to post-graduation. In the morning, we will dive into the history and development of the tool, while afternoon sessions will focus on the tool in practice, allowing attendees an opportunity to try out a section of the tool with guidance from the Equity & Justice team. We welcome all faculty, staff and graduate students invested in creating greater equity for graduate students to attend the summit. Please share this invitation widely.
