The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is hiring ECE Tutors for the 24-25 academic year.  

 The ECE Tutor is a direct student-facing position that provides one-on-one and/or small group tutoring and mentoring in person. The tutor’s expertise is focused on supporting Electrical Engineering undergraduate coursework. The tutor also promotes and develops academic support services and activities within the ECE department.  

The job description is attached to this email, and here are some key position details: 

  • You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or master’s student in the ECE department for the autumn 2024, winter 2025 and spring 2025 quarters.
  • To be eligible to tutor a class, you must have earned a grade of 3.5 or higher in the class. 
  • We need tutors who can tutor our core classes and ideally other 300/400 level EE classes.
  • The position is paid $19.97/hour, and will work approximately 6 to 12 hours per week.
