We’re seeking enthusiastic students to join our Autonomous Rover Project. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about robotics, autonomous systems, computer vision, or AI to gain hands-on experience and contribute to cutting-edge research.
The project involves developing advanced navigation, SLAM, and path-planning algorithms, as well as creating fused perception models and learning-based behavioral algorithms. Participants will work with state-of-the-art sensors, such as LiDAR and cameras, and contribute to testing and refining the autonomous rover in both simulation environments and real-world applications.
We’re looking for students with a background in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields. Familiarity with robotics, computer vision, control systems, C++ or ROS is a plus.
Interested students can email BZLI@UW.EDU with their resume and a brief note explaining their interest in the project.
