The ECE Tutor is a direct student-facing position providing one-on-one and small group tutoring and mentoring in person. Expertise is focused on Electrical Engineering (E E) undergraduate coursework support. The ECE Tutor plays a role in promoting and developing academic support services and activities within the ECE department.
The job description is attached to this email, and here are some key position details:
- You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or master’s student in the ECE department for the autumn 2025, winter 2026 and spring 2026 quarters.
- To be eligible to tutor a class, you must have earned a grade of 3.5 or higher in the class.
- We need tutors who can tutor our core classes and ideally other 300/400 level EE classes.
- The position is paid $21.57/hr (expected) and will work approximately 6 to 12 hours per week.
