The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Yale University. The department is announcing an open rank faculty position at the assistant, associate or full professor level in the field of semiconductor devices and electronic materials and hardware for AI applications. We are especially interested in mid-career candidates with demonstrated excellence for appointment with tenure. We aim to identify experts on semiconductor devices, materials, and AI hardware which can address limitations of traditional software and computing architectures. The targeted research areas include, but are not limited to, devices and materials for analog and mixed signal processing, communications, energy efficient computing, semiconductor photonic and optoelectronic devices.
