The Q Center is proud to be hosting the following incredible programs this quarter, and we’d love to see your students there!
- Gender Discussion Group is a biweekly group aiming to build loving community for trans, non-binary, and gender expansive students and allies at any point in their journey! Next meeting Tuesday, 3/3 from 5-6:30 pm in the Q Center (HUB 315)! Learn more
- Gayme Night is a fun, welcoming space for queer and allied students to connect, play video and board games, and build community! Next meetings on Wednesday, 2/25, and 3/11 from 4:30-6pm in the Q Center (HUB 315). Learn more
- ColorMode is a low-stress space for queer people of color and allies to connect and be among peers. Bring your work and school assignments, or unwind with our weekly creative activity. We meet bi-weekly every quarter on Thursdays from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Q Center (HUB 315), next meetings are on 2/26 and 3/12. Learn more
- A-Spec Discussion Group (ASDG) is a space for anyone under the asexual or aromantic umbrella and allies who are seeking community and connection to share their experiences, discuss the issues affecting them, and seek support from their peers. Next meeting on Thursday 3/5 5-7pm in the Q Center (HUB 315). Learn more
- Sexplanations is a sexual wellness education program designed to deepen students’ understanding of sex, sexuality, and sexual health by building knowledge, skills, and habits that promote safer, healthier, and more affirming experiences with sex and relationships. The program now offers Sexplanations workshops that can be requested for free for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at the University of Washington. Learn more
- Q Center Book Club is a welcoming space for all UW students to come discuss books that explore sex, sexuality, and relationships through books and community. We invite everyone to come exactly as they are and join the conversation. Each month features a different book and is announced on our website and Instagram. Learn more
