Build Skills. Make an Impact. Mentor Future Engineers.
Looking for a meaningful way to use your ECE skills? This Autumn Quarter, ECE is offering a course where you can earn academic credit while volunteering as a mentor for middle and high school students in underserved communities through FIRST Washington Robotics.
As a mentor, you’ll help students design, build, and program robots while gaining valuable leadership, communication, and technical mentoring experience. Teams meet after school (typically 2:30–6:00 PM) starting Week 2 or 3, with placements in the greater Seattle area (in person or remote) or Eastern Washington (remote). Optional Saturday tournament volunteering is available.

Time commitment: ~2 – 5 hours/week
