RBC Signals provides real-time access to satellites with unparalleled connectivity at an affordable price via our global ground station network. It is our vision to be the world’s leading provider of real-time space communications technologies and services for satellite operators.
We are currently seeking a software engineering intern to assist with the continued development of our ground station scheduling service. In this role, you will develop new features and endpoints for the client-facing API, help architect our next-generation ground station software suite, build internal tools to assist our technicians and engineers, and maintain and update systems documentation.
Required skills:
– Python programming experience
– Familiarity with the Linux development environment
– Shell scripting experience
– Working knowledge of git
Preferred skills:
– Experience interfacing with hardware via Python
– Flask development
– Familiarity with AWS
– General knowledge of and interest in the aerospace industry and satellite communications
