The Master of Science in Law (MSL) Program at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law wishes to call your attention to this unique master’s program designed specifically for STEM professionals. The Master of Science in Law is an interdisciplinary degree that provides specialized training in areas of special interest to STEM professionals: business law and entrepreneurship, intellectual property and patent design, and regulatory analysis and strategy. The program also focuses on skills development – oral and written communication, quantitative skills, negotiations, etc. Our current health crisis has confirmed the importance of this cross-disciplinary study; we have been reminded of how valuable it is for decision-makers with technical expertise to also understand the legal, regulatory, and business implications of their work, and to be able to communicate effectively about these matters. You can learn more about the types of students who benefit from MSL study by exploring profiles of our current students and alumni.
- Join one of thier monthly information sessions – a 60-75 minute presentation with the MSL faculty director and current students, designed to provide an overview and discuss the benefits of the program. We would, of course, want your advice on the best way to reach your students to invite them to one of the monthly sessions. FYI, the next two sessions are:
- February 10, 2021 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM CT
- March 10, 2021 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM CT
