For more information about the organization:
During the school year, our outreach consists of 1-hour science lessons every Tuesday afternoon. We work with 4th and 5th graders, typically in small groups consisting of 2 to 3 students per volunteer. We select one broad topic per quarter to focus on and design 8 lessons around grad students’ individual interests. This quarter, everything will be held virtually and our theme is Physics and Astronomy. You do not need to be a physicist or astronomer to participate in these lessons!

We’re always interested in recruiting more graduate student volunteers so please feel free to spread the word. If you can’t come to the meeting but are interested in volunteering, please send us an email and we’re happy to answer any questions!

Hope to see some of you on Tuesday!
