Designing Accessible Tech Solutions in a Virtual World

The UW Foster Technology Club and Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVCC) are excited to announce the 2021 Husky Hackathon! This year’s hackathon will be focused on building a solution that creates a more inclusive and accessible experience for an underrepresented population. The Annual Husky Hackathon are seeking participation by all with an interest in AI and addressing accessible tech solutions in a virtual world.
The Hackathon will be an exciting 48 hours filled with building prototypes, pitching prototypes to investors, and actually creating a business – through this event, teams will experience the entire lifecycle of building a product with a cross-functional team. Workshops and speaker series from local technology leaders will precede the event. Cash awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams (up to $5,000)!
