Welcome back for an exciting Spring quarter! Rachel Smithers, the Director of Diversity Efforts, BSU – as well as the amazing volunteers – are working towards the BSU demand of expanding the diversity credit undergraduate graduation requirement. Our work has uncovered options beyond just an increase in the amount of credits students take.
We have planned a forum for this Friday, April 9th, at 5 PM to answer questions about our student-led work, faculty’s efforts, a final student demand, and more. This is also a place to have extensive conversations around what the best way forward is, share experiences about our diversity credit courses, and learn more about the impact of diverse and inclusive curriculum in pathways to education equity and a more just society.
This is an opportunity for you and your friends to come chat with us in a webinar-style Zoom! This format allows for participation through Q&A, listening to updates, and share your experiences through open dialogue.
