Want to see 12 graduate students from across disciplines present their work in three minutes while competing for cash prizes in front of an esteemed panel of judges? Attend the UW Virtual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition! Senior master’s students and doctoral candidates, representing 7 schools and colleges from across the UW, will share their capstone, thesis, or dissertation projects, with a particular emphasis on the theme of Equity. Join us for these fast-paced and engaging presentations. This event is a partnership between Core Programs—Office of Graduate Student Affairs in The Graduate School and UW Libraries Research Commons. 

The online audience will vote for their favorite presenter to win the People’s Choice Award!
Prizes: First Place ($2,500), Runner Up ($1,500), and People’s Choice Award ($1,000). Prize money generously donated by Bruce and Joanne Montgomery.
