The Summer 2021 TA application for Electrical and Computer Engineering courses is now open and can be found at https://forms.gle/tnFoj5xm1fDNW8qp6
A few reminders:
  • There are very few TA positions in Summer (between 5-7). If you have the opportunity to find funding elsewhere I encourage you to apply and consider those options. I suggest reaching out to departments in which you may have skill sets (Phys, Math, Stats, etc.) to see what their TA process looks like this summer.
  • PMP classes can be challenging to match as they need specific skill sets. If you have the following skill sets I encourage you to apply:  EEP538 – Cadence, Analog IC design, opamp design, noise analysis;  EEP 598 – STREAM tools, EcoS framework, project gamification principles, design & monitoring of KPI, cybersecurity for midsize teams; EEP 523 – Android programming, Java and/or Kotlin programming, Arduino programming, TensorFlow, Microconrollers (C language) digital image processing.
  • International students must meet memo 15 criteria to be eligible to TA
  • You must use your UW net ID to log in to the form
  • A resume is required. Please have a section where you list ALL skills (Java, Python, CUDA, OpenCL, GPU,  Verilog, etc). The rest of your resume should reflect all duties related to teaching, mentoring, tutoring or project leadership, etc.
  • PMP syllabus for Summer 2021 are attached (EEP 523 is from Spring 2020 as we do not yet have Summer 2021, but do not expect it to be much different).
  • The TA website managed by our Lead TA, Jenny Cho will be updated for Summer. It has past workshop information and class supporting resources – https://wp.ece.uw.edu/eceta/resources/

The deadline to apply is Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 5 p.m.
