The American Academy in Berlin: Berlin Prize

  • Application Deadline: September 27, 2021, 3 p.m. Pacific Time
  • For established and emerging scholars, writers, and professionals who wish to engage in independent study
  • Projects should benefit from a residency in Berlin, but need not be on German topics
  • Includes round-trip airfare and a stipend of $5,000 per month
  • Restricted to applicants based permanently in the U.S. Citizenship is not required.

Seattle School Retirees Association: Teaching Intern Scholarship

  • Application Deadline: September 1, 2021
  • The Seattle School Retirees Association (SSRA) is offering four scholarships of $5,000 for teacher interns. These scholarships for future teachers who are student teaching during the academic year 2021-2022 through a college/university program and who are working on initial certification in an educational field.
