The Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering is seeking (3) qualified Student Building Assistants for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assist with events and catering: Work with operations team to set up and break down catered meals and special events (including receiving deliveries, organizing carts, moving furniture, setting up refreshments and clean up). Support the functions of the building kitchens with maintenance and upkeep; restock catering closet. Other events/catering tasks as assigned. (30%)
Assist with building maintenance and facilities: Assist operations team with office moves and maintenance, conduct building walkthroughs / facilities checks, maintain first aid kits, reset spaces as needed, fulfill facilities tasks as assigned. (30%)
Assist in general front office tasks: Receive and distribute mail, organize office supplies, make copies, fulfill offsite errands as assigned, may act as back up receptionist as needed, other duties as assigned. (40%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior office experience preferred. Experience with email, Windows, Chrome, Office 365 and Google Workspace. Must be able to lift and move 40 lb. Experience carrying out tasks (simple and complex) with limited supervision. Experience in customer service is a plus.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year work experience.
Work Schedule: Shifts are scheduled between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
