Please note the following, as we are getting a few reports of positive COVID tests from different parts of campus.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or believe you might have COVID-19, please send an email to UW Environmental Health and Safety at covidehc@uw.edu with your name and phone number. Stay home, do not go to work or class and isolate yourself and a contact tracer will call you to give you further public health information.
If you have had a close-contact exposure to someone and you are not fully vaccinated (two weeks after your second or only vaccination), or if you are fully vaccinated but have symptoms, send UW Environmental Health and Safety an email at covidehc@uw.edu with your name and phone number, arrange COVID-19 testing, do not go to work or class, and quarantine yourself at home. An EHS contact tracer will call you to provide public health information and guidance.
If you have an urgent medical situation, call 911 or your personal health care provider.
Fully masking indoors is mandatory. This means masking so that both your nose and mouth are covered; not just one of them. If you do not do this, you will be asked to leave class. See here.
