October 22, 2021

Applications are currently open for the Research University Alliance (RUA) lab visit program: the Research Exchange (RE).  The October 31st deadline for best consideration to be included in the fall 2021-2022 cohort is fast approaching!

RUA is focused on creating a cross-university community of senior Ph.D. students and postdocs in MPESE fields (Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, and Engineering) and from underrepresented and/or underserved communities.  Research Exchange visits are possible to one of our 8 RUA partner institutions: Caltech, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Michigan, UT-Austin.  In addition to the Research Exchange, the RUA also supports travel to annual RUA conferences and provides other professional development opportunities.

An RE is a great opportunity for a short (3-7 day) campus visit to introduce yourself and your work.

Got questions? Please attend one of the information sessions to find out more:

Here is what we’ll discuss:

  • Overview of the Research Exchange Program
  • Reflections from past graduate student and postdoc participants of the Research Exchange Program
  • Your questions!
