The Electrical Engineer works directly on key projects, contributing to the product concept, planning the hardware development effort, writing requirements, and monitoring the quality of the output. In addition, this individual is responsible for the detailed design, performing safety risk analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM), and integration, verification planning including EMC testing and reporting. Member of R&D Electrical Engineering team developing board / system designs for next generation or next iteration of biomedical devices. Design and/or assist in design of simple to complex boards and FPGAs to meet the product design requirements. Work includes the design, fabrication, modification, evaluation, and verification of circuit boards, FPGAs and test fixtures/systems for use in biomedical devices. Works under general direction in the application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Provides solutions to a variety of problems and demonstrates knowledge of current technical and recent advancements.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience

* Minimum 2 years of related experience

Preferred

* Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline

* Experience with medical device industry best practices
