We are offering a new graduate-level course in Spring 2022, INDE 599: Modeling and Simulation of Complex Adaptive Systems. The class will be taught MW from 11:30-12:50pm.

Students will learn the fundamentals of using agent-based simulation to model and analyze complex adaptive systems in this course. Students will also learn how to develop models of agent behavior (e.g., using reinforcement learning and network theory) in python. Students will learn how to use these models to perform simulation experiments, visualize and interpret results. Attached is a preliminary syllabus for the course.
