2022 ECE Awards: submit your nominations by 5/16 at 5:00 p.m.

The UW Electrical & Computer Engineering Awards program recognizes outstanding efforts by its students, faculty, staff, alumni and industry partners. Award recipients in several categories will represent exceptional achievements; embody UW ECE core values such as leadership, collaboration, and teamwork; and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nominate an ECE community member today!

I am also excited to announce the inaugural Outstanding Mentorship in ECE Award. This award was made possible by a generous endowment from a donor and will be issued annually with the goal of acknowledging the profound impact mentors can have in helping students thrive. It also recognizes that mentorship can be provided by any member of the ECE community including but not limited to faculty, staff, students, alumni, industrial advisors and others. I encourage you to think about individuals with exemplary mentoring and advising activities who have made important contributions in building a supportive culture in our department. This award carries an amount of $5,000 and two individuals may be recognized.  

All awardees will be honored at the ECE Department Awards Celebration on June 2nd, 2022 at 4 p.m. Additional details to follow.
