The Society of Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), an international professional society of academic, industry and government life sciences researchers offers excellent educational opportunities through our international conferences and symposia along with opportunities for grants, scholarships and career advancement specifically for students.
Their upcoming symposium taking place in Seattle, WA next month (Sept. 26-27) that is entirely FREE for students to register and attend. The AI Data Pipelines in Life Sciences Symposium is centered around artificial intelligence/machine learning in the laboratory and the role it plays in the life sciences.
University of Washington students who attend will see the transformative technology from our exhibitors and engage with a diverse community of innovators and data scientists that can help form their career path. Specifically, students in the Bioengineering program could benefit from exploring applications of AI that are advancing research in drug discovery, cellular imaging and other life sciences and other scientific sessions led by experts in the field.
Seattle is a relatively new location for SLAS educational events so we would love to see a presence from University of Washington scientists and students and help you grow your connections and collaborations.
