Summer 2023 Intern – Research Department – Machine Learning Initiative (PhD Level)

This project is aimed at Ph.D. students interested in producing a Fair ML paper using some of the consumer finance datasets available at Philadelphia Fed in collaboration with Philadelphia Fed’s researchers and the Ph.D. student’s advisor. The details of the project will be decided prior to the hire in a conversation with the candidate, their advisor and the Philadelphia Fed economists. The potential projects should use some of the data available at Fed, be aimed at top ML outlets and have such a timeline that significant progress can be made during the internship.
