Preparing Scientists for Industry Careers

Life Science Washington in partnership with SciPhD is hosting a four-day workshop scheduled each day for noon–4 p.m. from May 18–23, 2023, titled Preparing Scientists for Industry Careers.
This integrated workshop includes four modules:
- The business of science
- Communications for Scientists
- Project management
- Networking for success, and
- Chat with a recruiter from each sponsor organization
In addition, representatives from each of the sponsors will share hiring opportunities during the workshops on designated days. The agenda of the workshop will be updated soon.
Each virtual module is integrated, requiring attendance for all sessions. After attending all four sessions, participants will receive:
- Digital certificate of completion to be used on LinkedIn.
- Receive access to Virtual Career Coach – Flamingo. This will support you with resume writing and guidance during job search.
- Virtual networking opportunities to connect with hiring managers
