Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units. The internship is 15 weeks and begins on January 8.
Project Focus:
Projects may involve many aspects of applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desired:
  • Students who have acquired a junior or higher academic standing by the start of the internship are preferred.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Hands-on project experience.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Passion for space.
