Exciting event at UW!
The UW Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is excited to invite you to the second WomXn at the Forefront of ECE Research (WAFER) event at UW! This event aims to cultivate an inclusive environment for participants and speakers alike to share and learn more about research, hear others’ experiences in the field, and ultimately leave the event inspired to pursue a career in ECE or other tech-related fields. Speakers of WAFER include faculty, students, and industry leaders such as Amazon, Boeing, Impinj, Meta, and Microsoft.

Need help with making a research poster?
If you are interested in submitting a poster, a poster prep workshop will be hosted on October 16th at 6pm so you can receive personalized feedback from graduate student mentors before WAFER. Free dinner will be provided! Please fill out this workshop signup form by October 12th at noon if you are interested in participating in the workshop.
