ECE is launching a tutoring program for undergraduate EE classes in winter 2024 and we are looking to hire ECE Tutors! The position is paid 19.25/hr and works approximately 6-12 hrs/week. The ECE Tutor is a direct student-facing position providing one-on-one and/or small group tutoring and mentoring. Expertise is focused on Electrical Engineering undergraduate coursework support. The ECE Tutor will play a role in promoting and developing academic support services and activities within the ECE department.
The job description is attached to this email, and here are some key position details:
- You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in the ECE department for the winter 2024 and spring 2024 quarters.
- To be eligible to tutor a class, you must have earned a grade of 3.5 or higher in the class.
- We need tutors who can tutor our core classes and ideally other 300/400 level EE classes.
- The position is paid $19.25/hour and will work approximately 6 to 12 hours per week.
